NASHUA, NH - Roland A. Bourassa, 87, a resident of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Friday evening, March 2, 2018, at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. He was the beloved husband of Therese M. (Hall) Bourassa with whom he celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on June 16, 2017.
Born in Lowell on August 27, 1930, he was a son of the late Henry J. and Aurore (Neveu) Bourassa.
Prior to his retirement following 24 years of service, Mr. Bourassa was employed by Parker Hannifin Corp. where he ran the hypro lap machine.
He proudly served with the Army National Guard for a period of 9 years.
Roland enjoyed woodworking and camping with his family.
In addition to his wife Therese, he is survived by a sister-in-law, Mabel Walterbach of Pelham, NH and a brother-in-law, John Hall of Dracut; also many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Lauretta Jacques, Florian Bourassa and Irene Marcil.
SERVICES - Roland's Visitation will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Road, Nashua, NH, on Thursday morning, March 8, from 9:30 until 10:15 AM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
