DRACUT – Roland A. Belleville, 92, a lifelong Dracut resident, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Lowell General Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Therese Y. (St. Cyr) Belleville, who passed on December 21, 2009.
Born in Dracut on June 2, 1923, he was a son of the late Albert L. and Marie G. (Beaudoin) Belleville.
Employed as a truck driver, Roland worked for Blue Line Express of Nashua, NH for over 33 years retiring on June 1, 1985. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, NH Local 633.
He was a long time parishioner of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish and was a member of the Dracut Knights of Columbus, Council 4225.
Active in the community, Mr. Belleville served as a call fireman for the Town of Dracut, Company 1, for over 30 years.
Roland is survived by a daughter, Denise Y. Belleville of Dracut; two sons and their spouses, David E. and Lynne (Clancy) Belleville of Dracut and Richard M. and Denise (Beausoleil) Belleville of Lowell; five grandchildren, Adam, Amanda, Ashley, Katelyn and Aimee Belleville as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. He was the father of the late Robert G. "Buddha" Belleville, grandfather of the late Alyssa M. Belleville, and brother of the late Albert and Rudolph Belleville.
