Roger W. Couture

Roger W. Couture, 70, a resident of Dracut, died Wednesday February 14, 2007 at the Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Rita (Norman) Couture.
Born in Lowell on January 14, 1937, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Doris (Chateauneuf) Couture.
He was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut.
Mr. Couture served with the United States Army Reserves and during the Korean War served with the United States Air Force.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Melbourne School Department in Melbourne, FL.
He is survived by four sons; Paul Couture and his wife Janice of Dracut, Normand Couture of Lowell, Rene "Roy" Couture of Londonderry, NH and Ronald Couture of Lowell; four daughters, Yvonne Couture of Lowell, Susanne Couture of Lowell, Jeannine Edwards and her husband James of Seagonville, TX and Donna Couture of Lowell; three brothers, Robert Couture of Tewksbury, Donald Couture and his wife Patricia of Dracut and Richard Couture and his wife Ruth of Lowell; nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Jacqueline Couture.
Mr. Couture also leaves his fianc�e, Pauline Caron of Dracut.
