Robin L. (Potter) Larkin

Robin L. (Potter) Larkin, beloved wife of Michael P. Larkin died on Friday May 30, 2014 at her Lowell residence following a prolonged illness. She was 58.
Robin was born on August 4, 1955, in South Kingston, RI. a daughter of Robert Potter of Citronelle, Alabama and Dorothy (Bailey) Potter of Lykens, PA.
Robin and Michael first met during the summer of 1968 in Marlborough CT., Michael was 16 and Robin 13 years of age. They continued their adolescent relationship through high school and during the years that Michael served in the U.S. Army. Upon his discharge from military duty they became a couple and soon married and enjoyed a relationship that spanned 40 years until her passing in May of 2014.
Robin and Michael have been residents of Lowell MA. since 1985.
Robin enjoyed quilting and tending to her flower garden. She cherished long walks on the beach, especially the beaches of Gloucester MA. She was a talented sketch artist and loved to sit with a good book. She also just liked to be at home. Family was paramount to Robin. She treasured the time spent with them more than anything.
Surviving her besides her husband of 38 years are her three children, Michael R. Larkin of Portland, OR, Brandy Ciraldo and her husband Brian of Glastonbury, CT, David F. Larkin of Lowell; two grandchildren, Corinne and Sophia Ciraldo; sisters and brothers Stephanie Gosselin of AL, Dorothy Gemberling of PA., Robert Potter of NY, William Potter of PA; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Nancy O'Neil and Janet Arachi.
