Roberta M. (Williams) Sullivan, 48, died at home, Monday, January 22, 2007 with her family by her side. She courageously battled breast cancer for 11 years. She was the beloved wife of William P. Sullivan to whom she was married for 23 years.
She was born in Boston on February 7, 1958 a daughter of Barbara M. (Sabo) Williams of Needham, who survives her, and the late George E. Williams.
Mrs. Sullivan grew up in West Roxbury and graduated from St. Clare High School. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1980 where she earned a B.S. in Pharmacy.
She was employed by the Veterans Administration as a pharmacist for 22 years, serving as Pharmacist-In-Charge at the Lowell Outpatient Clinic in Kearney Square and was later promoted to Pharmacist Specialist at the Edith Nourse Rogers Veterans Administration Hospital in Bedford. Illness forced her to retire in 2005. She was a member of the Federal Pharmacist Association and the Dracut Garden Club.
A resident of Dracut for the last 20 years, she was a communicant of St. Francis Church, Dracut.
Mrs. Sullivan enjoyed sports, reading, gardening, cross stitch, and adored her two cats.
Mrs. Sullivan loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a dedicated mother offering unconditional love and sound advice.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by her son and daughter, Mark P. Sullivan and Andrea R. Sullivan, both of Dracut; a sister and brother-in-law, Regina Holdstock and her husband Mark Kaplan of Milton; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Mark and Cindi Williams of Mountain Home, ID and Stephen Williams of Needham; four brothers-in-law and their wives, Daniel and Donna Sullivan of Derry, NH, Thomas and Marianne Sullivan of Hull, George and Patricia Sullivan of Winthrop and Joseph and Donalyn Sullivan of Medford; a sister-in-law and her husband, Mary and James Carroll of Charlestown; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
