LOWELL - Robert M. Therriault, age 59, a lifelong resident of Lowell died unexpectedly Friday, July 20, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Lowell on April 7, 1959, and was a son of Jeannette R. (Tellier) Therriault of Lowell and the late Marcel A. Therriault. Robert attended St. Louis Grammar School and was a graduate of Greater Lowell Vocational Technical High School in Tyngsboro.
He was employed for many years as a machinist for various local businesses.
Robert was an avid coin collector and enjoyed cooking and entertaining his friends and family by playing his guitar and singing.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Jared Therriault of Arlington; his brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Louisa Therriault of Lowell; his nephew, Matthew Therriault and his wife Kelsie; his niece, Miranda Tobar and her husband Johnny; his aunts and uncles, John and Nancy Tellier, Mariette and Clarence Marhefka, Jeanne Midgley, Richard and Joanne Tellier and Rachel Ferris; and many cousins. He was also the nephew of the late Robert Tellier, Lucille Bourassa, Anita Matte, and Therese Perin.
ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends are invited to attend Robert's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:30 AM at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Church in Dracut. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford.
