OBITUARY
DERRY, NH - Robert N. Tanguay, 48, a resident of Derry, NH, died Sunday, December 12, 2004 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH following an extended illness.
Born in Lowell on September 5, 1956, he was a son of the late Lucien J. Tanguay and Alice G. (Bibeault) Tanguay of Lowell.
Mr. Tanguay attended Lowell Schools and had been employed as an architectural woodworker for the Anthony Galluzzo Corporation of Londonderry, NH for the last 27 years.
He was a History buff and enjoyed touring Historical Civil and Revolutionary War Sites. He enjoyed woodworking as both a hobby and profession and also enjoyed camping.
Mr. Tanguay enjoyed a wide variety of music including John Lennon and Johnny Cash.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his partner of 28 years, Thomas Bonnar of Derry, NH; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Suzanne and Albert Mercier of Pelham, NH and Elizabeth McGuiness Goodwin and Wayne L. Goodwin of Durham, NC; four nephews, David and Timothy Mercier, Daniel and Brian McGuinness; his former brother-in-law, John McGuinness of Cedar Grove, NC; also many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the brother of the late Emile Tanguay.
