Robert C. Lalime

NASHUA, NH - Robert C. Lalime, 90, a resident of Lantana, FL, died Thursday evening, July 23, 2009, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH. He was the husband of the late Lucienne A. (Painchaud) Lalime.
Born in Lowell on November 16, 1918, he was a son of the late Adelard and Corinne (Martin) Lalime.
While residing locally, Mr. Lalime had been a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church. He retired from Hanscom Air Force Base in 1970 where he worked as an electronics engineer in the United States Air Force Systems Division. He was a member of the National Federation of Retired Federal Employees and AARP. Mr. Lalime was a co-founder of the Hanscom Federal Credit Union.
While residing in Florida, Mr. Lalime was active in the local community where he belonged to the Citizens Task Force, was on the Library Board and was also on the Land Use Advisory Board, all in Palm Beach City. He was also a member of the Florida Life Care Residents Association.
He is survived by two sons, Robert B. Lalime of Derry, NH and his former wife Maureen (Kassin) Lalime of Merrimack, NH, and Paul R. Lalime and his wife Jane (McEnaney) Lalime of Nashua, NH; a sister-in-law, Jeannette Painchaud of Lowell; two grandchildren, Robert J. Lalime of Hudson, NH and Shawn A. Lalime and his wife Joy of Escondeto, CA; also several nieces and nephews.
