Robert G. DiNitto, husband of Pamela J. (Jens) DiNitto, longtime Chelmsford resident, died Friday February 20, 2009 at a local nursing home surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Cambridge on October 4, 1946, Bob was the son of Angelo H. DiNitto of Monterey, California and the late Alice Ruth (Bellehumeur) DiNitto.
Bob worked as a Medical Device Consultant for many years.
Besides his wife and father, survivors include, four sons; Kenneth G. DiNitto of San Diego, CA, Gary P. DiNitto of CO, Scott A. DiNitto of Boston, Mark A. DiNitto of San Diego, CA; two daughters, Kristen D. DiNitto of NY, Heather A. DiNitto of Townsend; three step daughters, Kristin (Schopp) Wells of New Ipswich, NH, Keri A. (Schopp) Bradshaw and her husband, Andrew of Littleton, Katie E. Schopp of Nashua, NH; a brother, Richard G. DiNitto and his wife, Margaret Hanley; seven grandchildren; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
