LOWELL - Robert R. Delisle Jr., a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at the Lowell General Hospital following an extended illness. He was 59.
Robert was born in Lowell, MA, on November 10, 1961, a son of the late Robert R. Delisle Sr. and Helen M. Delisle. He was also preceded in death by his brother Ronald T. Delisle.
Robert worked for many years side by side with his father in the family Real Estate Business. He was well educated in all phases of construction, carpentry and plumbing and was always there to lend a helping hand when needed. In his down time, Robert enjoyed socializing with family and friends. He also enjoyed camping in the White Mountains where his family also owned the Brentwood Campground and The Dew Drop Inn.
He leaves behind a son, Robert R. Delisle Ill and his companion Jennifer Lamarche; one grandchild, Hayden A. Delisle; two brothers, Roy Delisle and his companion Renee Ducharme of Litchfield, NH and Raymond Delisle Sr.; a sister, Karen Delisle of Lowell; an uncle, Edward and his wife Helene Delisle of Dracut, MA; an aunt, Shirley and her husband Albert Auger of Pelham, NH; also many cousins, nieces and nephews. He also leaves a close friend, Steve Colby.
Robert's favorite saying was "Life's A Journey Enjoy The Ride".
