Robert H. Boutilier

Robert H. Boutilier, Sr., 77, of Dracut, beloved husband of Rosemarie F. (Barrett) Boutilier, died Saturday January 16, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on April 8, 1932, he was a son of the late Borden and Gladys (Wotton) Boutilier.
Bob was enlisted in the National Guard for more than seventeen years of his life.
For many years, Bob was employed by Courier- Citizen of Lowell working as a pressman, foreman and night superintendent. Later in his career he worked for ZBR Publications, Inc. of Wilmington as a plate maker until his retirement.
He was an avid New England sports fan and looked forward to Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins games. He also enjoyed traveling with his family.
He was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Lowell.
Besides his wife, survivors include two sons, Robert H. Boutilier, Jr. of Dracut, John A Boutilier and his wife, Maryann of Lowell; a granddaughter, Annemarie Reeves of MA; two great grandchildren, Devon and Rhiannon Crawford of MA; two brothers, Raymond and Richard Boutilier of FL; many nieces and nephews. He was also the father of his beloved son, Gary R. Boutilier and a brother of the late Jacquelyn Boutilier, A1C.
Bob's family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the compassionate care Bob received from many nurses through Lowell General Cancer Center and VNA Hospice of Greater Lowell, especially Pauline Knight, RN., and a dear family friend, Janice Bilby. Your kindness was appreciated
