DRACUT - Robert A. Blazon, 76, a longtime resident of Dracut and retired Dracut Police Officer, died unexpectedly on March 10, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Judith M. (Zwearcan) Blazon. The loving couple would have celebrated 56 years of marriage on March 13th, 2017.
Born in Lowell AND he was the son of the late Leon and Kathleen Blazon.
He was a graduate of Lowell High School. Following his graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corps. He returned back to his hometown after his honorable discharge, where he became an ace mechanic and managed Bob's Sunoco in Lowell. Later he attended the Donahue Civil Service School where he graduated and became a well Known and respected Dracut Police Officer.
He was known for his bright happy smile and caring personality to everyone throughout the town of Dracut. He was always the first to help anyone and everyone he came in contact with.
He enjoyed antique cars, motorcycles ad spending time with his many wonderful neighbors and friends, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his beloved and best friend Judy his wife, whom you always seen together as well as his children, grandchildren and his 2nd best friends his late dogs, Snuggles & Boo.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 2 daughters Shirley Landry and her husband Rick Landry; Carol Anne Brouillette and her husband Philip Brouillette; his 4 grand-daughters Jessica-Lee Robinson, Laurin Rowe, Twins Harmony & Melody Rowe; Step-grandson Philip Brouillette; His brother Donald and his wife Janet Blazon, his 2 sisters; Jean and her husband Sgt. Raymond Jones, Kathy and her husband Bruce Cochran.
He was the father to the late Karen (identical twin to Carol Anne); Jayne Blazon, father-in-law to Chief Thomas Robinson of the United States Navy; Grandfather to Airman Joshua Steven Robinson of the United States Air Force and Robert Blazon.
He also leaves many nieces & nephews. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.
