Robbyn Kenyon

Robbyn M. Kenyon, 57, a longtime Dracut resident, died Wednesday February 22, 2012 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill following a decade long battle with cancer. For the past twenty years, Robbyn shared her life with Christina M. (Dyne) Kenyon of Dracut who survives her.
Born in Clinton, MA on May 18, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Russell D. and Barbara (Colbath) Kenyon.
Robbyn was most recently employed as an IT Specialist by Alfa Aesar.
There were many things about Robbyn that made her unique and special. She was a very creative person. She loved knitting and often taught others how to knit and developed knitting patterns. She kept a blog that offered people advice and lessons for new knitting ideas. Her talent for crafts expanded into areas like calligraphy and drawing. She was a voracious reader and would spend endless hours wrapped up in a good book. Robbyn had an extensive background in music and has played several instruments including the piano, flute and clarinet. Being at the ocean, specifically in Ogunquit, Maine, was where she was the most content.
In addition to Christina, survivors include an aunt, Evelyn Randall of Haverhill; an uncle, Howard Kenyon of Florida; extended family, Donna, Zachary, Joel and Asher Davis all of Bountiful, UT; many dear friends, including Laurie Abbott of Tewksbury, Aparna Kumar of Framingham, Carolyn Morgenstern of Derry, NH; and the wonderful support team at Holy Family Cancer Center. Robbyn will be missed everyday by her furry friends, Jade and Edmund Underfoot. She was the sister of the late Russell E. Kenyon.
