LOWELL - Rita C. (Boulanger)(Adamowski)(Bindas) Sheehy, 83, a Lowell resident, wife of the late John E. Sheehy, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004 in Lowell.
Born in Lowell on December 12, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Emile J. and Marie L. (Anstiss) Boulanger.
Mrs. Sheehy had worked for the City of Lowell as a school custodian and cafeteria worker.
She was a Gold Star wife due to her husband Walter Bindas' disability following his military service.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Walter S. and Mary Eileen Bindas of Dracut and Michael J. and Laura Lee Bindas of Lowell; three daughters and three sons-in-law, Pearl A. and Leo R. Sandy of New Hampton, NH, Donna M. and Norm Truscott of Lowell and Joanne L. and Fred Spicer of Dracut; two sisters, Lorraine Hardy and her husband Frederick of Methuen and Theresa Adams of Lowell; eight grandchildren, Kirsti Sandy, Karl Sandy, Jason Donati, Christian Sheehy, Erin DiDomenico, Michael Spicer, Ryan Spicer and Amber Cappella; a great granddaughter, Maddison DiDomenico; several nieces and nephews.
She was the wife of the late Carroll Adamowski and Walter Bindas, and sister of the late Herve Boulanger, Jeannette Riberdy and Antoinette Mercier.
