Lowell - Rita A. Plouffe, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell died Monday April 26, 2010, at a local nursing home. She was 87.
She was born in Lowell on September 4, 1922, a daughter of the late Camille and Alexina (Fisette) Plouffe.
Rita liked traveling and took great pleasure in cooking for her family.
Survived by several nieces and nephews including, Normand Moreau with whom she resided for the past 28 years, Steven Plouffe of NH, Roland Plouffe of Dracut; great nephews, Donald Moreau and his children, of Lowell, Leo Moreau and his wife and their children of CT. She was also the aunt of the late Annette Moreau and sister of the late Mary Plouffe.
