Rita A. (Calandriello) Letendre

DRACUT – Rita A. (Calandriello) Letendre, 77, a resident of Dracut, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Lowell General Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Paul W. Letendre with whom she would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on May 8, 2016.
Born in Lawrence on September 9, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Katherine (Mazzucco) Calandriello.
Mrs. Letendre was educated in Lawrence schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Assurance Technology of Chelmsford.
Rita enjoyed singing, Italian food, and swing dancing with her husband Paul.
In addition to her husband she leaves two children, Debra A. Letendre of Dracut and Paul M. Letendre and his wife Leanne (Shea) of Hudson, NH; a brother, James Calandriello of Atkinson, NH; three grandchildren, Hollie A. Elwood and her husband Christian of Dracut, Kylie S. Letendre and Jacob S. Letendre, both of Hudson, NH; a brother-in-law, Rosario Barcellona of No. Andover; many nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Rachel Sportum, Gloria Pitocchelli, Lucia Barcellona and Alice Dole.
