Rita R. (Aubrey) LeBel

Rita R. (Aubrey) LeBel, age 84, beloved wife of the late Paul R. LeBel, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2016 at the Lowell General Hospital.

Born in Lowell on November 22, 1931, Rita was a daughter of the late Armand and Parmelle (Johnson) Aubrey. She was educated in the Lowell school system and worked as a clerk at the former Bradlee's Department Store.

She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Beecher and Emely Carkin and her husband Rodney, Sr. all of Lowell; three sisters, Pauline Bechard and her husband John of Alabama, Lorraine Wilson and her husband Robert III of Billerica and Yvette Roche of Billerica; two brothers, Richard Aubrey and his wife Dolores of Lowell and Maurice Aubrey and his wife Betty Ann of Dracut; two grandchildren, Rodney P. Carkin, Jr. and Amanda Carkin, as well as many nieces and nephews. Rita was also the grandmother of the late Kassandra Carkin, who passed away on June 3, 1995.
