Lowell - Rita L. (Maille) Larose, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, and widow of Alphonse A. Larose, Jr., with whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage at the time of his death in 1998, died Thursday September 9, 2010 at the Lowell General Hospital. She was 92.
Rita was born in Lowell on July 4, 1918, a daughter of the late Pierre and Malvina (Coutu) Maille.
She was a graduate of Dracut High School. Rita was employed as a physical therapist aide at the former St. Joseph Hospital for 13 years.
She was a communicant of the former Ste. Therese Church, and currently St. Marguerite D'Youville Parish.
Rita was a wonderful and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family dearly.
Survivors include two daughters and a son in law, Lena Larose of Lowell, Dianne and Ronald LaBrecque of Dracut; two grandchildren, Jeffrey LaBrecque and his wife Kimberly, Adam LaBrecque, and his fianc�e Erica Crofts; four great grandchildren, Brandon and Matthew Ouellette, Cameron Siciliano, Tia LaBrecque; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Irene Caisse, Grace Rondeau, Germaine Texiera, Olivette Gagnon, Omer and Roland Maille.
