Rita C. Lalime

LOWELL - Rita (Chouinard) Lalime, 93, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died Thursday, August 2, 2007 in a local nursing home. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert R. Lalime.
Born in Lowell on July 5, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Zenon and Alvina (Gagnon) Chouinard.
Mrs. Lalime received her education at St. Louis Parochial School and St. Louis Academy.
She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Eat a Donut located on School Street in Lowell.
She was an active volunteer and parishioner of the former Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Parish.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard A. and Judith A. Lalime of Lowell; four grandchildren, Karen Campbell and her husband Scott Campbell of Dracut, Kevin Lalime and his wife Christina Lalime of Longmeadow, Emily Lalime and Matthew Lalime, both of Lowell; she was the mother of the late Jacqueline R. Randall and mother-in-law of the late Robert J. Randall; four great grandchildren, Robert Campbell, Makenna Campbell and Kayla Campbell, all of Dracut and Clifton Lalime of Longmeadow; five sisters, Yvette Trouville, Juliette Doyle, Lucille Lacourse and Annette Tully and her husband B. Joseph Tully, all of Dracut and Doris Noel of Chelmsford; a brother, George Chouinard and his wife Cecile Chouinard of Dracut; a brother-in-law, Frank Richards of Lowell; many nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Irene Lamarre, Estelle Bisson, Dorothy Shannon, Cecile Thibodeau and Aline Richards.
