Rita P. Hoare

Hampton, NH - Rita P. (Lessard) Hoare, widow of Richard Hoare, died Tuesday November 11, 2008 at her Hampton, NH residence following an extended illness. She was 78.
Rita was born in Lowell on July 14, 1930, a daughter of the late Edmond and Florida (Dion) Lessard. She was a lifelong Lowell resident until recently residing with her daughter in Hampton, NH.
Rita was a waitress at various local restaurants including the former Walbrook Restaurant in Dracut, MA for many years.
She was an avid bingo player, played in several cribbage leagues, and also enjoyed candlepin bowling.
Survivors include four children and their spouses, Linda and Robert Goulet of Nashua, Paul "Butch" Dupras, Jr. of New Castle, PA, Deborah and Richard Turcotte of North Andover, Rhonda and Hector Gauthier of Hampton; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; a brother and sister in law, Leon and Theresa Lessard of Nashua; two sisters, Lorretta Borderleau of Lowell, Beatrice Lessard of Boston; and several nieces and nephews.
Hoare - Rita P., Relatives and friends will be received for a memorial visitation at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell from 3 until 7 PM on Thursday.
