Rita E. Giniewicz

Lowell - Rita E. (Trouville) Giniewicz, 83, widow of Stanley J. Giniewicz, died Sunday January 14, 2007 at a local nursing home.
She was born in Lowell on August 27, 1923, a daughter of the late Arthur and Robertine (Houle) Trouville, but had been a resident of Tyngsboro for many years. She retired to Laughlin, NV in 1989 and moved back to Lowell in 2001.
Along with her husband she owned and operated Hampshire Enterprises LTD, and their subsidiaries Berlin Sportswear and Hewd Manufacturing, which made women's sportswear, all located in New Hampshire.
Mrs. Giniewicz was educated at Keith Hall in Lowell. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, and a member of the St. John Sodality there.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter in law, Stanley G. Giniewicz of Tyngsboro, John A. and Sherry Giniewicz of Nashua, NH; four grandchildren, Jennifer Giniewicz, Charlene Giniewicz, Melissa Giniewicz, Sherrie Giniewicz; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Frank, Raymond, Arthur Trouville, and Blanche Camiere.
