Rita A. (Lacourse) Evicci

TYNGSBORO - Rita A. (Lacourse) Evicci, age 88, a resident of Tyngsboro and former resident of Lowell died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at her home. She was wife of the late Raymond J. Evicci, Sr., who died in 2003

She was born in Lowell on December 28, 1929, and was the daughter of the late George and Eleanor (Gravelle) Lacourse. She received her education in Lowell schools.

Prior to her retirement, Rita was employed for many years as a solderer at MACOM and previous to that at Raytheon.

She was an active parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Tyngsboro and was a member and volunteer at the Tyngsboro Senior Center.

Rita was an avid gardener and enjoyed knitting, playing bingo, and going on trips with the Senior Center, especially to Foxwoods.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Tammy Dauteuil and her husband James of Tyngsboro and with whom she resided, John Evicci of Tyngsboro, with whom she also resided, and Melanie Greene and her husband Michael of Peabody; many great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Leah Evicci of Raymond, NH; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Raymond J. Evicci, Sr. and the late Donna Pepin.

ARRANGEMENTS - It being her wish, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Tyngsboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rita's memory to House of Hope, 812 Merrimack St., Lowell, MA 01854.
