Rita A. (Pelletier) Deslauriers, 74, a resident of Dracut, died Thursday January 5, 2012 after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Raymond E. Deslauriers, who died on December 1, 2011 just before they would have celebrated 28 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell on July 26, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert J. and Delia L. (Ouellette) Pelletier.
Rita enjoyed winters in Arcadia, Florida with her husband, Ray. There she made many great memories and had many dear friends. She looked forward to playing cards with her friends and always cherished time spent with her family.
Survivors include a son, George E. Bisson and his wife, Traci of Peabody; a step-son, Raymond Deslauriers and his wife, Kathy of Tyngsboro; two step-daughters, Johnna Bahou and her husband, William of Lowell, Leslie McMahon and her husband, Michael of Alton Bay, NH; ten grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, and Brendan Bisson, Meghan, Matthew and Jonathan Bahou, Morgan Deslauriers, Abagayle, Shannon and Michael John McMahon; a brother, Gilbert "Pete" Pelletier of Tyngsboro; a dear friend, Pauline Destramp of Tyngsboro; many cousins; and a close extended family.
