Rita C. Champoux

Lowell – Rita C. (Morgan) Champoux, 85, of Lowell died Wednesday June 1, 2011 at her Lowell home. She was the wife of the late Henry A. Champoux who predeceased her in 1982.
Born in Clinton on September 8, 1925, she was a daughter of the late William and Jenny (Whitney) Morgan. Rita was raised in Lowell.
Rita was a loving stay at home mother and wife, who raised her small family of seven children. When she wasn’t taking care of her family she enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by two sons, Henry Champoux and his wife Alice of Lowell, John Champoux of Lowell; four daughters, Irene Hall and her husband John of Dracut, Linda Agrella and her Husband Timothy Martin of Nashua, NH, Tammy Champoux Roucher of Lowell, Julie Champoux of Lowell; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a daughter Debra L. Taylor, two sister’s Irene Martin and Agnes Rusky.
