Rita (LeBlanc) (Comtois) Boudreau, age 91, died December 30, 2014. She was the wife of Roger E. Comtois who died in 1962 and the wife of Charles Boudreau who died in 1995.
She was born in Lowell on May 22, 1923 a daughter of the late Neil and Marie (Toupin) LeBlanc. She was a longtime Lowell resident before moving to Oswego, IL three years ago.
Rita was a parishioner of the former St. Louis de France Parish and Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish.
She received her education in Lowell, graduating from St. Joseph's High School, and was a former captain of Garde Notre Dame.
Rita worked for many years at St. Louis Elementary School as the school secretary, and enjoyed seeing former students and faculty throughout her retirement.
She was happiest spending time with family and all will miss her beautiful smile and positive outlook.
Rita is survived by two sons, Rev. Norman R. Comtois, OMI of Lowell, David E. Comtois of Sarasota Florida; three daughters Diane and Ronald Gilbride of Oswego Il., Michelle Johnson of Concord, NH, and Jeannine and Christopher Hall of Dracut;
five grandsons, Bryan and his wife Kelly Comtois, Daniel and his wife Beth Comtois, Patrick Gilbride, Nicholas and Benjamin Hall; two granddaughters, Lauren Gilbride and Renee Johnson; four great grandchildren; three step daughters, Joan Gosselin of Methuen, Susan Davis of Westford, Nancy Svegliati of Lowell; two step grandsons; six step granddaughters, and step great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Sr. Yvette Comtois, of Marlboro, Pauline Thibault and Lucille Buckley of Lowell; brother in law, Vincent Comtois of Lowell; also several nieces and nephews
