Richard A. Tenczar

LOWELL - Richard A. Tenczar, a resident of the Highlands section of Lowell, died on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Lowell General Hospital following a period of declining health.
Born in Lowell on July 19, 1940, he was a son of the late John and Vera (Breault) Tenczar.
Mr. Tenczar attended Lowell Schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1958.
Prior to his retirement, he worked in the manufacturing industry as a material's handler.
For a number of years he volunteered at the Brookdale North Chelmsford Senior Living Center.
Mr. Tenczar's family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Intensive Care Unit at the Lowell General Hospital for the compassionate care given to him while in their care.
Mr. Tenczar is survived by three children and their spouses, Kimberly and Jay Mortimer of Madison, AL, Nancy and Steve Cortez of Pepperell and Daniel and Lisa Tenczar of Lowell; 10 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his former wife, Patricia M. (Finneral) Tenczar. He was the brother of the late Jack Tenczar and his wife Theresa.
