Richard David Reault, a Lowell resident, passed away on July 8, 2017. He leaves his wife of 62 years Beatrice L. (Landry) Reault; three children, Susan M. Mercier and her husband Paul, Richard "Rick" Reault and his wife Susan (Calnan) and David J. Reault and his wife Cheryl (Sahagian); eight grandchildren, PJ Mercier and his wife Jill (Johnson), Sheila Mercier, Ronnie Mercier and his wife Michelle (Pelletier), Russell Mercier and his wife Jess (Malli), Michael Reault, Alyssa Reault, Joe Reault and Shannon Reault; eight great grandchildren, Parker, Griffin, Easton, Bryn, Peter, Chase, Nolan and Betty; and a sister Joan Ennis.
Mr. Reault served with the United States Navy during the Korean War and Vietnam War. Following his retirement from the military he worked as a YMCA membership director then worked for Panas & Partners.
Memberships and affiliations included: National Life Member of the Boy's Club of America, Life Member of the Retired Armed Forces Association, Life Member of International Management Council (IMC), Fleet Reserve Association, VFW, American Legion, the Rotary Club, Lowell Lodge of Elks, Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, American Fundraising Council, numerous Spanish and French Clubs as well as the Franco-American Veterans.
