Loving Father, Grandfather Brother, and Uncle

LOWELL - Richard David "Moe" Morris 78 of Lowell, died peacefully on December 20, 2024 at his home with his loving family by his side after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, on a warm Tuesday in August of 1946. A son of the late Richard A. Morris and Jeanne D. (Connell) Morris. His academic years were spent in Lowell schools where he has been a proud lifelong resident

At a young age he found his love for cars and started his Sales career working for Bonneville Chrysler Plymouth. He then worked for Hallissey Chevrolet where he earned top salesman of the month many times, Later he opened his own used car lot, “Moe’s Auto Sales” which was a great success for many years. 

His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids whom he loved very much. “Grampy is the man”. 

He enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, The Andy Griffith show, Counting Cars and Pawn Stars. 

On Sunday mornings, Moe could always be found at Saint Michael’s church where he attended Mass regularly. Being a proud New England Patriots fan, we are sure a prayer was always said for them to win. He loved to cook for everyone, and he always did for his grandkid’s birthday parties. He loved spending time at the beach, fishing, playing cornhole, eating seafood and sharing happy memories of his life and man did he have stories with his friends, If music was playing, Moe would be dancing. 

Moe is survived by his two daughters Kimberly Pilato and her husband Micky of Dracut, MA. Courtney Budin and her husband Mike of Lutz, Fl. His Son Mark Lynch and his wife Adrian of Salem, NH. His Grandchildren Kiley & Michael Pilato, Giovanni & Graciella Budin, Evan & Keira Lynch, John & Madi Pilato, Mckenna Kizner, Christan DaSilva.

His siblings Carol Ann Schreiber of Lowell, MA, Jean D. Kent & her husband David of Lexington, MA. Bruce A. Morris & his wife Lorraine of Tarpon Springs, FL, Davina A. Raftery & her husband Brian of Nashua, NH, Wayne F. Morris & his companion Danielle Buteau of Dracut, MA a sister in law Maggie Morris of Nh and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his one & only true love Sharon O’Brien, and his good friends Freddie Georgoulis, Guy Mader, Buddy Flynn, Gary Flynn, Vj Pointdexter and Courtney Lees. 

He was also the brother of the late Robert H. Morris who died September 2, 1996

 Relatives and friends are invited to Moe's Life Celebration at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street, from 2 until 6 PM on Sunday. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Michael Church. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Moe's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
