Richard P. Lacoss

Richard P. Lacoss, 61, beloved husband of Judith Y. (Paquin) Lacoss for more than 41 years, died peacefully on June 14, 2009 at their dream home on Lake Winnipesaukee, with his loving wife by his side following a brief battle with cancer.

Born in Lowell MA, on June 23, 1947, he was the son of the late Palmer and Jane S. Lacoss of Lowell, MA his mother whom just passed away at the age of 93 in January of 2009.
Richie graduated from Lowell High School Class of 1965. He worked for Honeywell in Lawrence, MA from 1966-1990. He then became a Mass Licensed Real Estate salesperson and helped his wife run their office Happy Homes Real Estate in Dracut, MA. They worked together selling real estate until they sold the business in 2003 and retired to their dream of living on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Richie retired early giving him and his wife time to travel and enjoy life. He has a passion for traveling and enjoyed several wonderful trips with his wife and children. A few of Richie's fond memories include cruising the Caribbean and Panama, traveling to Florida, Alaska, Hawaii and most of all he loved their annual family trip to Aruba. (He became an Ambassador guest of Aruba after 25 years).

Richie enjoyed gardening, boating, dining out, sports and taking their beloved dog Bruno for walks. Richie loved Christmas and the holidays.

Richie truly enjoyed life, sharing his home and loved spending time with the ones he loved and his many friends he has met at Largo.

Besides his loving wife, survivors include, his daughter Sherri Otoski and her husband, Peter of Dracut, MA; his son Richard P. Lacoss II and his wife, Jennifer of Pelham, NH; his sister Sandra Ellis and her husband, Richie of Harwich, MA; his four beautiful grandchildren Adam, Julia, Ricky and Lauren; and many family and friends in Massachusetts and the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
