Richard Joseph Kinnal, 73, a Lowell resident, died unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, November 14, 2014.
Born in Lowell on August 25, 1941, he was a son of the late Joseph and Victoria (Klosowski) Kinnal.
Mr. Kinnal was educated in Lowell Schools graduating from Lowell High school, Class of 1958.
Following High School he enlisted with the United States Coast Guard serving a tour of 4 years.
He worked for the United States Postal Service as a supervisor retiring after 40 years of service.
He also enjoyed bartending, and had worked at the Colonial Inn in Concord and was currently employed by the SAC Club in Lowell.
Mr. Kinnal enjoyed golfing, going to plays at the Merrimack Repertory Theatre, going to the movies and Foxwoods. He loved all sports, especially the New York Yankees.
He was a member of the Holy Trinity Polish Church, the Mount Pleasant Golf Club, the Dom Polski Club, the Tyngsboro Sportsman's Club, the Lowell Lodge of Elks, the American Legion and the SAC Club.
He is survived by a daughter, Jodi Berton and her husband Michael of Pelham, NH; two sons, Douglas Kinnal and his wife Bonnie of Dracut and Jared Kinnal and his wife Jennifer of Salem, NH; five grandchildren, Morgan and Kobe Berton, Bryce Kinnal, Mason and Aiden Kinnal, a sister, Joan B. Davis of Pelham, NH; his former wife, Gayle (Moore) Kinnal of Hudson, NH; his mutt Gertie and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves a loving friend, Tricia Neary of Lowell.
