Richard W. Johnson

Richard W. Johnson, 60, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Elaine C. (Chandonnet) Johnson with whom he celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary on February 22nd.
Born in Lowell on January 23, 1956, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Evelyn A. (Maxwell) Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was educated in Lowell Schools and had worked as a manager for Comet Products of Chelmsford. He had previously been employed by Optima Precision of Fitchburg.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three children, Anne-Marie Lapointe of Dracut, Christopher Johnson of Woburn and Stacy Davenport and her husband James of Tyngsboro; two sisters, Sandra Stuart of Townsend and Judith Koziol of Dracut; eight grandchildren, KJ and Sera Davenport, Damon and Jordyn Lapointe, Hannah Landry and Brady, Dominic and Jack Johnson; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Patricia (Surprenant) Chandonnet of Dracut; a lifelong friend, Jimmy Champoux of Lowell; many nieces and nephews.
