LOWELL - Richard Guilbeault, 73, a longtime resident of Lowell died Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Fairhaven Healthcare Center in Lowell.
He was born in Lowell on March 17, 1943, and was a son of the late Frederick and Irene M. (Simoneau) Guilbeault. He received his education in Lowell schools.
Prior to his retirement, Richard was employed for many years as a train engineer.
He was a communicant of the former Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Church in Lowell.
Richard enjoyed watcing westerns and collecting antiques.
He is survived by his many close friends at Market Mills including Janet Roper; his two sisters, Suzannne Guilbeault and Jeannine Guilbeault, both of Lowell; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Guilbeault of Dracut, a sister-in-law, Ellen Guilbeault of Pelham, NH, and many nieces, nephews. He was also the brother of the late Donald Guilbeault, Sister Constance Guilbeault, and Georgette Guilbeault.
