Richard L. "Dick" Griggs

December 11, 1938 — July 29, 2021

Exeter, NH - Richard L. "Dick" Grigg, Sr., age 82, a resident of Exeter, NH died Thursday, July 29, 2021. He was the beloved husband of the late Priscille A. (Moreau) Grigg, who died on October 25, 2020.

He was born in Somerville, MA on December 11, 1938, and was a son of the late Edwin Grigg, Sr. and the late Martha (Know) Grigg.

Dick served his country in the Massachusetts Army National Guard.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed for many years by the former International Equipment in Needham, MA. Earlier in his career he was employed for 20 years by Anton Cleaners in Lowell, MA.

Dick was a die hard Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and playing card games, especially cribbage and poker.

He is survived by his step-children, Shawn Brunelle and his wife Laurie of Hampton Falls, NH and Sherry St. Louis and her husband Allan of Hudson, NH; his two sons, Richard L. Grigg, Jr. and Ronald Grigg; two daughters, Elaine Powlin and Christine Grigg; a brother, Al Grigg of Stoneham, MA and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was also the brother of the late Edwin Grigg, Jr. and Ronald Grigg.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dick's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell, MA on Saturday, August 7th from 9:00 until 11:00 am followed by his Funeral Service at 11:30 am at St. Joseph Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Road in Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dick's memory to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave, Waltham, MA 02451.
