Richard J. Graham

Lowell - Richard J. "Dickie" Graham, a Lowell resident, died Saturday May 23, 2009, at a local nursing home following an extended illness. He was 66.

Born in Lowell on August 2, 1942, he was a son of the late David and Edna (Taylor) Graham, and was raised in Billerica until moving to Lowell several years ago.
He had served in the US Air Force.
Dickie was employed in the maintenance department at BPB Realty for the past 15 years.
He loved bowling and country music, enjoyed gardening, fishing, and long walks, but most of all he cherished being a dad.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter in law, Jeffrey of Pittsfield, Scott of Lowell, Kevin and Cheryl of Billerica; three daughters and a son in law, Deborah and George Gavriel of Lowell, Laurie Jacques of Dracut, Melissa Graham and her mother Elaine Rios of Lowell; a brother John Graham of Hollis, NH; a sister Mary Graham of Eliot, ME; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late James and Kelly Graham, and brother of the late Robert, Malcolm, Patricia, Jean, Edna, Paul, and Barbara.
