Richard U. Deneault, 86, died at Merrimack Community Hospice on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Collette E. (Roussell) Deneault, with whom he was married 38 years.
He was born in Lebanon, NH on February 24, 1940 and was a son of the late Rena (Reney) and Romeo Deneault. He received his education in Enfield, NH and was a graduate of Enfield High School. Outside his passion for teaching, Richard was an avid golfer and proudly achieved a hole-in-one during his lifetime. He enjoyed fishing, tennis, gardening, tinkering with computers and was a handy man to all.
In addition to his wife, Collette, Richard is survived and will be deeply missed by his son, David Deneault of Derry, NH; his three stepchildren, Jennifer Quinlivan of San Diego, CA, Jessica Oldham of Keene, NH and Jocelyn Von Klein and her husband, Karl of Virginia; his five grandchildren, Gabriel, Adeline, Simone, Adrien and Caden; his great-grandson, Asher; his beloved dogs, Bella, Chico and Joey; as well as many other extended family and friends.
