WAKEFIELD - Richard J. Beaudry, 59, a resident of Wakefield for the last year, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Born in Lowell on March 5, 1949, he was a son of the late Wibur Beaudry and Yvette (Elie) Beaudry of Dracut who survives him.
Mr. Beaudry had been employed with Zoll Medical of Chelmsford as a production controller.
He was a long time resident of Dracut and Lowell and held membership in the Lafayette Club of Lowell.
Active in youth sports, Mr. Beaudry was a longtime Pop Warner Football coach in Dracut and had also coached in Chelmsford. He coached Little League Baseball for many years in Lowell.
In addition to his mother Yvette, he is survived by the mother of his children Marie E. (Roy) Beaudry of Nashua, NH; two daughters and their husbands, Lisa A. and Dennis Curran of Chelmsford and Lynn M. and William Cassotis of Windham, NH; four brothers and their spouses, Ronald J. and Elaine Beaudry of W. Boylston, Donald J. and Gina Beaudry of Dracut, David J. and Debbie Beaudry of Lowell and Robert G. and Donna Beaudry of Dracut; two sisters, Nancy Nobrega and Diane Guerin and her husband Michael, all of Lowell; seven grandchildren, Eddie and Alexis Lanoue and Aidan and Tatum Curran, all of Chelmsford, Philip Curran of Hudson, NH, Michaela Murphy and Ava Cassotis, both of Windham, NH; a brother-in-law, Richard Fells of Dracut; also several nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late Elizabeth Fells and uncle of the late Kenneth Leandro and Donna Leandro. He was the former husband of Shealagh Darragh of Lowell. He leaves a dear friend, Gail Stavis of Wakfield.
