Reine M. (Allard) Lecourt, a Dracut resident, widow of Gerard Lecourt, died on Saturday December 21, 2013 following a period of declining health. She was 78.
Reine was born in Lowell on January 21, 1935, a daughter of the late Omer Gene and Yvonne (Dussault) Allard.
She was educated in Lowell schools, but had been a resident of Dracut for many years.
Reine had worked at D'Youville Senior Care in several roles such as a nurse's aide, and a laundry assistant but was most recently a homemaker.
She enjoyed trips with her late husband to the Beacon Hotel. Reine also took pleasure in dancing, cooking and baking. She also had a fondness for animals. Family was paramount to Reine and enjoyed all of her time spent with them.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Michael A. and Ann Marie Lecourt of Dracut, Daniel G. and Sally Lecourt of Chaska, MN; three daughters and sons in law, Linda and James Valade, Suzanne and Ronald Turcotte all of Dracut, Renee and Michael Matthews of Winchendon; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; a brother Ronald Allard of Hadley; two sisters, Theresa Cushion of Lowell, Simonne Allard of Nashua, NH; a sister in law Doris LaRoche of Derry, NH; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Gerald Allard, Origene Allard, Roger Allard, Jules Allard, Louis Allard, Omer Allard, and Leone Bourgeault.
