Lowell-Reina F (Demers) Isabelle, 84, died after a brief illness at a local nursing home on Sunday, July 3, 2005. She was the wife of the late Lionel Isabelle. Born in Lawrence on November 15, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Eglentine (Jean) Demers.
She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes for many years . During that time she was a member of the Legion of Mary and Our Lady Sodality organizations of that parish.
Prior to her retirement, she was a clerk at the former Calvert's clothing store.
Surviving her are two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Frances Isabelle of Spring Hill, FL, Robert and Deborah Isabelle of Enfield, NH; two daughters and a son-in-law, Claire and Edward Chateauneuf of Dracut and Nancy Gendron of Lowell; a brother, Raymond Demers of Chelmsford; fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves a dear friend, Pauline Goyette of Lowell. She was the sister of the late Fernand and Lorraine Demers.
