Reginald P. Moser

Reginald P. Moser, 90, (formerly of Cambridge MA) died October 19, 2013 at the Willow Manor in Lowell, Massachusetts after a long illness. Born on December 8, 1922 in Lockport, NY Reginald, a World War II US Army Veteran, worked at Cambridge Machine & Valve in 1940 at the age of 18, learning the machinist trade before enlisting in the army. Mr. Moser also worked as a machinist after the war, settling in Cambridge where he met his cherished wife Marie (Noella L. Gelly), and they started a family, as well as a family business. A resident of Cambridge for 50 years, Reginald was the owner and proprietor of "RPM Tool Corp" originally located on Brookline Street in Cambridge. After raising his family and operating his tool business for more than 30 years, he relocated the company (renamed to A1 Tool) to Dracut Massachusetts in 1994 where he remained in business until the death of his beloved wife in 2006.
An accomplished saxophone player, Reginald formed a small jazz band called "The Melody Four" and performed during the late 1940's and early 1950's throughout Massachusetts. RPM enjoyed playing many musical instruments and his love for playing music lasted throughout his life. An avid pilot, and flying enthusiast, Reginald owned and flew his single engine Piper Cherokee aircraft whenever he could, out of Norwood Memorial Airport.
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, he is survived by his sons, Reginald James Moser and Franz Paul Moser, daughters-in-law Dianna and Barbara, his grandchildren Manice, Reginald Paul II, Andrew, and Marilyn. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren Shaylin, Tristan, Meadow, and River as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
