Raymond R. Therriault

Raymond R. Therriault, 94, a resident of Dracut, died Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Pauline A. (Grimard) Therriault, with whom he would have celebrated 72 years of marriage in July.

He was born in Lowell, MA on February 4, 1928 and was a son of the late Jeannette (Proulx) and Emile Therriault. As a young man, Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII and later during the Korean conflict.

After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Raymond went on to work as a Plant Manager for Davis & Ferber until his retirement.

Raymond was a communicant of St. Michael Church and actively involved in collecting and sorting funds from week to week.

He enjoyed playing the organ, doing projects around the house and tending to his yard. His greatest joys however, came from the time spent with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Pauline, Raymond is survived and will be deeply missed by his three children, Jean Therriault and his wife Susan of Boylston, Suzanne Gagne and her husband James of Dracut and Donald and his wife Cynthia of North Carolina; his four grandchildren, Michelle Gauthier and her husband Warren, Richard Cote and his wife Shannon, Bethany Therriault and her significant other Christopher Webb and Renee Albanese and her husband Vincent; his great-granddaughter Alana Cote; his sister, Jacqueline Daley and her husband Robert of Boxford; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Albert and Roland Therriault and Rita Trainor.

Relatives and friends are invited to Raymond's Life Celebration on Monday, May 30, 2022 from 5 until 8 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM in St. Michael Church, Lowell. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
