Raymond W. Laurencelle

October 25, 1920 — June 30, 2008

Dracut - Raymond W. Laurencelle, beloved husband of Evelyn R. (Lambert) Laurencelle, with whom he celebrated 67 years of marriage, died Monday June 30, 2008 at his Dracut residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 87.
Born in Lowell on October 25, 1920, he was a son of the late George A. and Yvonne (Desjardin) Laurencelle. Ray was a veteran of WWII, having served in the Navy.
Prior to his retirement Ray was employed as a maintenance machinist for the Raytheon Corporation in Andover. He was also a professional assistant at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home for the past 20 years.
He was a communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Church and was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society there. He also held membership in the Dracut Knights of Columbus Council 4225.
Surviving him besides his wife are four sons and daughters in law, George and Marguerite Laurencelle, of Laconia, NH, Richard and Amy Laurencelle of Gulf Breeze, FL, Raymond and Elaine Laurencelle of Tyngsboro, David Laurencelle, of Salem, NH; five daughters and sons in law, Janet and Albert Dube of Salem, NH, Marie and Robert Pinard of Dracut, Diane and Raymond Berton of Dracut, Denise and Kenneth Barbin of Pelham, NH, Susan and Scott Malette of Hudson, NH; a brother Irwin Laurencelle of Southington, CT; a brother in law, George Lambert of Lowell; 25 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Francis Laurencelle
