Raymond A. Hebert

January 21, 1949 — October 13, 2015

Raymond A. Hebert, 66, a resident of Dracut, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Carol G. (Patenaude) Hebert, with whom he shared 47 years of loving marriage.
Born in Lowell on January 21, 1949, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Germaine (Ouellette) Hebert.
Educated in Lowell schools, Mr. Hebert received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Lowell in Business Administration. He was employed by Sealed Air Corp. of Ayer, MA for the past 21 years.
A Veteran of the Vietnam War, Ray served with the United States Navy and received several citations including the Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
He enjoyed gardening, scuba diving and was an avid reader of Clive Cussler novels.
In addition to his wife Carol, he leaves two children and their spouses, Steven and Sheri (Caminiti) Hebert and Aimee and William Lyles, all of Dracut; two sisters and their spouses, Rachel and George Murphy of Venice, FL and Pamela and Michael Hodge of Nashua, NH; six grandchildren, Chelsey Richardson of Pelham, NH, Jacob Lyles, Grace, Chloe and Raymond Hebert and Thomas Lyles, all of Dracut.
He also leaves behind several bothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Henry Lanier of Chelmsford, Elaine Rupp of Pelham, NH, Ronald and Lorraine Patenaude of Ft. Pierce, FL, Carl and Kathy Patenaude of Dracut, Ernest Patenaude of Dracut, Ed and Stasia Patenaude of Palm Manor, FL. He was also the brother-in-law of the late Claire Lanier.
He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, longtime friends and his trusty companion Rocky.
