LOWELL - Raymond R. Hall, 77, a lifelong resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Monday evening, November 26, 2007 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Therese (Ayotte) Hall, with whom he was married for 55 years.
He was born in Lowell on October 16, 1930, a son of the late Noe and Eva (Moisan) Hall.
Mr. Hall served with the United States Navy during peacetime, from 1949 until 1950, and as a reservist from 1956 through 1960.
He retired as a PBX Supervisor in 1984 from the New England Telephone Company.
He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, the Centralville Social Club and the Lowell Senior Citizens. He had also been a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church.
He is survived by six sons and six daughters-in-law, Kevin and Robin Hall of Lowell, Dennis and Angela Hall of Lowell, David and Colette Hall of Milton, NH, Douglas and Lisa Hall of Danville, NH, Brian and Laurie Hall of Lowell and John and Therese Hall of Lowell; a daughter, Cynthia Gorby of Lowell; two brothers, Arthur Hall and his wife Bertha of Dracut and Armand Hall and his wife Gabrielle of Newport Richey, FL; two sisters, Juliette Mailloux of Dracut and Pauline Kunzler of Lowell; 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was the great grandfather of the late Ben Hall Masterson and brother of the late Rita Boyer and Priscilla Luther.
