Raymond E. Gaucher

DRACUT- Raymond E. "Pepsi" Gaucher, Sr., 67, husband of Simone (Robarge) Gaucher, died unexpectedly on July 13, 2005 at Lowell General Hospital.
Born in Chelmsford on Jan 29, 1938, he was a son of the late Kilda and Marie Jeanne (Chaput) Gaucher.
A Dracut resident, he retired from the Dracut Schools system as a custodian. In his early years he worked as a stone cutter for 19 years and then in maintenance for local nursing homes. Mr. Gaucher was a former member of the Centralville Social Club and the Pawtucketville Social Club.
Surviving him besides his wife are two sons and a daughter, Raymond E. Gaucher, Jr., Dean K. Gaucher and Robin Bellemare, all of Dracut; two sisters, Gabrielle Hall of Newport Richey, FL and Laura Bigelow of Milford, NH; two grandchildren, James M. Mercier and Bonnie L. Mercier; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph "Gus" Gaucher.
