Raymond A. Gagne

Dracut- Raymond A. Gagne, 81, husband of Jeanne d'Arc (Garneau) Gagne died Friday, Sept. 23, 2005 at his home after a battle with cancer.
Born in Lowell on September 12, 1924, he was a son of the late Alphonse and Laura (Cloutier) Gagne. He served in the US Army as a sergeant in the Western Pacific Campaign. He received the Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon, the American Theater Campaign Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal.
Mr. Gagne worked as a machinist at TIC in Acton and was employed by Sweetheart Plastics for over 30 years.
Surviving him besides his wife are six sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Estelle Gagne of Lowell, Ronald and Christina Gagne of Newcastle, NH, Richard and Gail Gagne of Pelham, Roland and Carol Gagne of Dracut, Raymond and Annette Gagne of Rindge, NH, Roger and Theresa Gagne of Dracut; a daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Tom Kelley of Westford; a brother and sister-in-law, Roland and Georgette Gagne of Dracut; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Germaine Roy.
