Raymond Ferron

August 21, 1915 — November 13, 2008

Dracut - Raymond Ferron, widower of Emile (Cote) Ferron, a Dracut resident, died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the Lowell General Hospital following an extended illness.
Born in Lowell on August 21, 1915, he was a son of the late Neree and Roseanne (Gauthier) Ferron.
Mr. Ferron received his education in the Dracut School system and graduated from Lowell High School.
He was an Army veteran of WWII serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater.
Prior to his retirement Raymond was employed at several construction companies as a mason and laborer.
He was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish, and held membership in the Lowell DAV Post 25,
Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Buote of Dracut Linda Brown and her husband Chester of Pelham; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Leo, Arthur, and John Ferron, Mary Dupres, Irene Sims, Rita McCarthy, father in law of the late Donald Buote, grandfather of the late Daniel and Diane Buote.
