Dracut - Raymond A. Fauvel, 68, a retired fuel oil dealer died march 16, at his Dracut residence.
He was born in Lowell on August 5, 1938, a son of the late Romeo and Alice (Hebert) Fauvel.
A lifelong Dracut resident, he owned and operated the Dracut Fuel Oil Company for many years. He was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish, and was a Life Member of the Dracut Rotary Club where he was a Paul Harris Fellow. Mr. Fauvel was also a member of the Dracut Senior Citizen Club, and the SAGE Club in Lowell. He enjoyed playing bingo, cards and bowling.
Survivors include two daughters and sons in law, Michelle and Mark Trubey of Chelmsford, Elaine and Thomas Ridge of Dracut; a son and daughter in law, James and Cheryl Fauvel of Dracut; six grandsons, William McDermott, Mason Trubey, Ryan and Christopher Ridge, Nathan Noonan, and Zachary Fauvel; a sister Therese Elie of Dracut; two sisters in law, Gloria Fauvel of Lowell, Therese Fauvel of Tyngsboro; his former wife Theresa (Landry) Fauvel of Dracut; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Romeo, Joseph, Oscar, Maurice and Paul Fauvel.
