Raymond V. Carbonneau, Sr., beloved husband of Lorraine (Gendreau) Carbonneau, a dracut resident, died unexpectedly at the Lowell General Hospital, on Sunday March 29, 2015. He was 63.
Born in Lowell on May 21, 1951, he was a son of the late Simon and Doris (Cloutier) Carbonneau.
Upon graduation of high school Ray enlisted in the Navy and served during the Vietnam War.
An avid outdoorsman he owned and operated Ray Carbonneau Landscaping for the past 29 years. Family was paramount to Ray. He was delighted his son Chris established his own landscape company and he loved working with him. Ray looked forward to camping trips with his brothers, fishing with his grandsons, hunting and playing cards. He also relished his vacations with Lorraine, with whom he would have celebrated 43 years of marriage on April 30th.
Surviving him besides his wife are his three children, Raymond V. Carbonneau, Jr., Chris Carbonneau and his wife Jennifer, Lisa Laake and her husband Kevin; four grand.
