Raymond J. Boucher, died on January 30, 2013 after living a long and healthy life. He resided at Willow Manor Nursing Home for the past year. He previously lived at Jaycee Place, Lowell, having moved there from his home on Eustis Ave. in the Centralville section of Lowell. He was born in Dracut on September 19, 1919, the son of Nestor and Angeline (Plourde) Boucher. He was married to Therese (Cyr) Boucher, who died in 1994. He was one of 8 children - 3 sisters, Claire Chenell, Irene Cyr, Florence Eliacopoulos and 4 brothers, Leo, Robert, Albert and Wilfred Boucher, all who have pre-deceased him. He began his work life in the Lowell Mills at age 13 to help support his family. After serving in the army for 4 years during the 2nd World War he worked at WH Bagshaw Co., Nashua for more than 40 years. He leaves 2 sisters-in-law, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
