Wyoming, Delaware - Raymond H. Bonin, 91, widower of Cecile M. (Morrissette) Bonin and Jean (Stewart) Bonin, a resident of Wyoming, DE formerly of Long Beach, MS and Lowell, died Saturday, May 14, 2005 at the Capitol Health Care Nursing Home in Dover, DE
Mr. Bonin was born in Springfield on January 14, 1914 a son of the late Joseph R. and Angeline (Peloquin) Bonin.
Mr. Bonin was a WWII Veteran having served in the US Navy. He was employed as a pipe fitter for the Merrimack Mills, the Raytheon Corp., and Lowell General Hospital, retiring in 1978.
While a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, Mr. Bonin was a communicant of St. Louis de France Church, and was a former member of the Lowell Lodge of Elks, the Salem-Derry Lodge of Elks and the Dracut Senior Citizens. In 1984 he moved to Long Beach, MS and was a communicant of St. Mary Church there. He was also a member of the Long Beach Yacht Club and the Gulf Coast Jazz Society. From 2000 to the present Mr. Bonin was a resident of Wyoming, Delaware.
Survivors include a son and daughter in law, SMS Richard R. Sr. USAF (Ret.) and Blanche Y. Bonin, of Biloxi, MS; a daughter and son in law, Elaine M. and Richard B. Woten of Wyoming, DE; seven grandchildren, Elaine L. Geiser, Deborah A. Barron, Richard R. Bonin, Jr., Joseph P. Bonin, MSGT Lisa M. Poss USAF, Sharon P. Spruill, Cindy M. Foskey; 16 great grandchildren and one great grandchild.
